Introducing myself

Hi, my name is Nikitas Papachristodoulou. I finished High School last year and currently I am studying at Deakin College doing my One Year Diploma of Information Technology which I can then transfer to Deakin University. The major that I want to follow is Cyber Security. I also have some work experience from working at McDonald’s for 2 and a half years during High School. This job taught me and improved me in many skills such as having better communication, time management, general management, better listener, adapt fast to new environments, socialize more with people, and most importantly having dedication and passion at what I do. My interests and hobbies when it comes at what I like to do are playing guitar, playing soccer, and some video games, I’ve been playing guitar for seven years now and soccer since I was little. I started playing video games at a young age and was playing on a console, now though, I’ve been gaming on my desktop and from playing many video games, I wanted to learn how they make them and what programs(engines) they use. From what I researched video games have lots of code behind them in order to perform and satisfy the player when playing. So then I started on making simple 2D games using the Unreal Engine. Even making a short animation or some kind of movement sometimes it can be very tricky. Last trimester at Deakin College I studied a unit called Introduction to Programming, which taught us how to use a program called Visual Studio Code. I learned how to make short animations and learned some coding which will now help me to make my new blog Website for my current unit Exploring I.T.
